If Charging brings you to your max, then powering up pushes you past it. Powering Up is gathering power and strength. By increasing your strength and power you'll do more dmg and increase your defense making it so attacks don't do quite as much dmg to you while you increase your DMG to others; BUT unlike charging this costs MP to do (Also there is no free Power Ups like there are charges) (When your at a big power level disadvantage this can really help sometimes, or if you need a nice little boost of rage)
Level 1: -20 Mp, +2 Str, +200 Power Level, +10 Rage
Level 2: -22 Mp, +2 Str, +300 Power Level, +12 Rage
Level 3: -25 Mp, +2 Str, +400 Power Level, +15 Rage

Powering up is great for evening out the playing field when it comes to strength or maybe unevening the playing field a little.
Its also a great way to boost your Rage up while making your power level make a nice little jump.
Becareful how much your Power Up, you dont want to kill your MP incase you need it later.
