Well to be honest there is no real difference between a Ki attacks and an energy attacks, they are basically the same thing. But this is something that EVERY character can do. It's to fire any type of Ki blast/ball. How this works is simple. You use your Mp as Damage.
You have a choice, you can fire a massive(or small) single attack OR you can fire multiple at once. You can fire two at a time.
(So you could fire two Enery Attacks not as a combo (or as a combo thats up to you) and increase ur chance to do DMG AND possibly do MORE DMG than normal(Remember Kis do Extra DMG in and out of Combos) OORRRR You could do a combo and fire up to 8 Energy Attacks at once(3 CPs))
Mp used times(x) 1.3
Just Like Ki attack these do 10% more DMG in and out of Combos. (So REALLY Energy Attacks do around 40% more DMG than the Ki you put into him. So if you used 200 Mp, you'd do around 280 DMG.)

They're just as effective if not more effective as some Ki attacks.
Like Ki Attacks the chances of your Combo being stopped while using one of these is VERY slim.
You can put as much or as Little Mp into it as you want.
Since everyone has this move you can actually do this move WITH another person. You can both put your attack together doing even more DMG than you're normally capable of.
You can Counter Energy Attack with Other Energy Attack or Ki Attacks.
